"What They Say" starts off with a dirty southern crunk beat and then explodes into a chorus designed for headbanging in a mosh pit. ~ A.Mehta

INTERVIEW:
Where will you be performing within the next year?
Jan 26 2008 10:00P Middle East Downstairs (CD RELEASE PARTY!) Cambridge, Massachusetts
Are there any upcoming albums that we could look forward to?
Hands High
Where do you hope to be in 10 years?
Loving making/playing music. About to release our 5th album... whose name will have been even harder to create than "Hands High"!
What would it take for a label to sign you?
A label w/ vision. (Or those people that you look back and call geniuses because they broke from the norm.)
Which artists have you been listening to recently?
Bilal, Mos Def, Kanye West, and then just keep tabs on the industry.
What is your favorite venue (bar/restaurant/lounge/club or performance space)?
Middle East Downstairs - Cambridge, MA = no wack acts, feels real
What is your favorite quote?
"...I have learned to be content with whatever I have. I know what it is to have little, and i know what it is to have plenty." ~ Philippians 4:11 (go figure)
What equipment do you use?
There's a video on YouTube. I'm not going into details but... Melodesiac = 2 vocals, guitar, 3 saxophones, keys, bass & live drums.
Anything else?
Having opened for such national touring acts as Lupe Fiasco, Blackalicious, Guster, State Radio and The Slip, the band is taking the next step in their career with the release of their new CD, "Hands High."
